After more than one year of taking the TASC exam, we have collected enough data to analyze the results and take away important lessons about the TASC exam. We have attached data and included some important points below:
- 69% of students that fail the TASC exam, fail Math.
- 80% of students with 8 or 9 correct answers on the Math ORT pass the Math TASC.
- The higher the overall score is on the ORT, the more likely a student is to pass.
- Only one third (33%) of P2G students pass the TASC exam when they earn a “passing” score in each section (combined, overall scores). Based on this data point, we encourage staff to establish higher “passing” minimum scores.
